James J. Clymer has worked in the real estate development industry since 1981. Prior to founding Key Development Group, Mr. Clymer created Key Real Estate, LLC in 1997, where he serves as Managing Partner. Today, Mr. Clymer also remains CEO and a Principal of Franklin Realty Trust, GP, LLC.

From 1993 through 1997, Mr. Clymer was Executive Vice President and General Manager of Grubb & Ellis Company’s Philadelphia District Office. His regional management encompassed Eastern Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey, and Delaware.

Mr. Clymer was a Regional Partner with Rouse & Associates (predecessor to Liberty Property Trust) from 1987 to 1993, where his portfolio was valued at more than $360 Million and included 90 flex, industrial, and office buildings in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.

Mr. Clymer began his real estate career with Hankin Management, where he was Vice President in charge of development, general construction, and property management.

Prior to his real estate career Mr. Clymer managed a variety of business units with Gould Inc. and Foster Wheeler Corporation.

Current Projects: Key Logistics Park and new project development.

Professional Affiliations: Mr. Clymer is licensed in real estate in the state of Pennsylvania.  Mr. Clymer served as a trustee on the board of ElderTrust, a healthcare real estate investment trust traded on the NYSE under the symbol ETT, until its recent merger with Ventas. Currently, Mr. Clymer serves as a director of the Kennett Area YMCA, director of the Southern Chester County Chamber of Commerce and serves as a member of Tri-State Board of Realtors (former director).  Current appointments include the Special Finance Committee of Kennett Township and the Borough Revitalization Grants Project Committee of the Borough of Kennett Square.

Education: James Clymer holds a BA in Mathematics and Economics from Swarthmore College and an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
